Hey everyone. Two years ago today I was on my way to the airport to fly home and in 11 days I´ll be on a plane again. I can´t wait. The last couple of days were pretty exhausting. We still had to get a few things done. The most important thing was to rent a car. We never thought that it would be so hard to get a car when you don´t have a credit card. I do have one but the driver of the car doesn´t. We wanted to pay cash but most companies won´t do that. So I made alot of phone calls and found 2 stations that accept cash. Finally we were able to rent our car. Another thing we didn´t know was that you have to pay a one- way rental when you drop the car off in a different place than you picked it up. Then we also found out that you have to have a international driver´s license. Thank god it´s not that difficult to get one and it doesn´t take that long. Now the only thing we have to do is to work on my wheelchair. It is too low for a really tall guy. Hopefully we´ll get that done soon too...

So und jetzt nochmal auf Deutsch. Ich weiß gar nicht genau über was ich eigentlich schreiben soll obwohl ich schon seit ner Ewigkeit meinen eigenen blog haben möchte. Ich habe vorher schonmal auf englisch geschrieben das im März einer meiner größten Wünsche in Erfüllung geht. Nur noch 21 Tage warten :) Wir haben gestern auch schon unsere Unterlagen bekommen die wir brauchen. Ich möchte noch nicht verraten um was es geht denn es gibt da ne Zeile in einem sehr bekannten Lied und die möchte ich als mein Status setzten wenn es soweit ist. Das ist ne Art Überraschung für alle. Ich weiß das sie davon leider nichts haben aber ich finde es macht mehr Spaß wenn keiner vorher etwas weiß. Ich glaube das war mein erster Beitrag. Ich bin noch nicht so ganz sicher im Umgang mit allem was das Design betrifft und so aber das finde ich schon noch raus. Es würde mich sehr freuen wenn es jemanden gibt der das liest und dem es vielleicht sogar gefällt. Bis demnächst. Maria :)

I always wanted to have my own blog because there are so many things I could talk about but now I´m sitting here and have no idea what to write. I also don´t know if I should post things only in english or in german too. English is only my second language and I am from Germany and not all of my german friends can speak english that good. They never had it at school. I guess I´ll just write everything twice in 2 diferent languages lol Sooo I was talking about my really big adventure that is going to start in March. I still can´t believe that my dream is coming true. Only 21 days. Yesterday we got all the things we need for our stay. It´s so exciting. I don´t want to say where we are going because I didn´t tell so many people. I want it to be a surprise. I know it´s not really cool for them because they have to stay here but there´s a line from a famous song and I want to put this as my status when I leave and it´s more fun when nobody knows :) Well I guess that´s my first post.
